We use an exciting computer technology curriculum called "Real Journeys in Technology". This is a theme based curriculum that allows the students to learn the basics of the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Access. 
In addition to the curriculum, all students work on their typing skills. Middle school students also learn how to do research on the Internet and how to write and format a research paper with proper credit given to their sources.
All students from 3rd thru 8th grade attend computer classes. Third graders come twice a month to the lab, while 4/5th graders come weekly. All middle school students have computer classes a least twice a week.
