- Miss Cindy Risinger12 years teaching experience in 1st grade at BCS, BA in Liberal Studies, Azusa Pacific University, Azusa, California; MEd in Curriculum and Instruction, ASU, Tempe, member of the Steering Committee for ACSI Accreditation for BCS, coordinator for the ACSI Spelling Bee, attends Central Christian Church.
- Mrs. Kris Sawyers Mrs. Sawyers and her family have been a part of the BCS community for the past four years. A graduate of Cal State University and NAU where she received her Masters Degree in elementary education and curriculum construction. Has a Standard Elementary Education certificate from the State of Arizona, attends Cornerstone Church
- Second Grade:
- Mrs. Mary Ann Stone 15 years teaching experience in the elementary grades with 8 ½ years teaching at BCS, BS degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin, Superior, WI, coordinator of the ACSI Creative Writing Competition, serves as an AWANA leader at Mesa Baptist Church, attends Chandler Christian Church
- Mrs. Jan Dolter23 years teaching experience in the primary grades with 3 years at BCS, BS degree in Elementary Education from California State University, Fullerton, active in Children’s ministries, and attends Red Mountain Community Church
- Third Grade:
- Mrs. Ashleigh Muhme4 years teaching experience in 3rd grade with 2 years at BCS, BS degree in Elementary Education from Calvin College, Michigan, assists with choreography for the elementary musical, attends Superstition Springs Community Church
- Ms. Bernice Roll15 years teaching experience in the primary grades with 4 years teaching experience at BCS, BS degree from the University of Arizona, Tucson, and a Teaching Degree from Ottawa University, Phoenix, and worked as a reading specialist and reading coach in the Mesa Public Schools, attends City of Grace
- Fourth Grade:
- Mrs. Megan Begeman6 years teaching experience with 3 at BCS, BS in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education and a coaching endorsement from Dordt College, Sioux Center, Iowa, coached middle school girls’ basketball, assisted with Variety Show, attends Mt. View Presbyterian Church
- Mrs. Louise Nichols3 years teaching experience at BCS in upper elementary and middle school, taught and developed the Christian World Impact class, BA degree from Ottawa University, Phoenix, founder and leader of the Daughter of the King workshops for middle school girls, attends Central Christian Church
- Fifth Grade:
- Mrs. Charmain Thorneycroft9 years teaching experience with 3 years at BCS in 4th and 5th grade, BS degree with a Reading Endorsement from Mankato State University, Mankato, Minnesota, served on the BCS School Board for 4 years chairing the Personnel Committee, served as Coordinator for the Scholastic Book Fair and ACSI Creative Writing Competition, attends Grace Chapel
- Mrs. Stephanie Pursley14 years teaching experience in elementary grades with 8 years at BCS, BS degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wyoming, Laramie, Coordinator of ACSI Young Authors and the BCS Variety Show, leads a 5th grade girls’ Bible study, attends Superstition Springs Church
- Sixth Grade:
- Mrs. Elizabeth Hales13 years teaching experience with 2 years at BCS focusing on math and science classes, BA degree in Mathematics from Alma College, Alma, Michigan, minor in music, coordinator of the middle school Science Fair, director of MS Band, flutist and saxophonist in worship team band, attends Broadway Christian Church
- Mrs. Robyn Bellerson16 years teaching experience in middle school primarily teaching Language Arts and Literature, BA in Secondary Education/English and a MAEd in Adult and Continuing Education from Arizona State, Tempe and the University of Phoenix respectively, involved in the Mentor Teacher Program with the Kyrene School District, Operations Director/Interim Administrator for Chandler Christian School, extensive hours in music and theater arts, assistant director in MS Choir, Student Council Advisor, attends Chandler Christian Church
- Seventh Grade:
- Mr. Leonard Evans20 years teaching experience, 8 years at BCS, BS in Elementary Education with a minor in English, Bob Jones University, Greenville, South Carolina, experience traveling with a Christian drama troop for many years prior to teaching, teacher of Performing Arts and Bible, attends Superstition Foothills Baptist Church
- Mrs. Rhonda LaBatt6 years teaching experience with 4 years at BCS, BS degree in Secondary Education with a minor in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, studied in South America, teaches Spanish I, II, and III in the middle school and directs an elementary after-school Spanish Club for elementary students, coordinator for the ACSI Writing Festival, attends Two Rivers Church
- Eighth Grade:
- Mrs. Diana Rhoades6 years teaching experience with 5 years at BCS, BS degree in Family Studies from Arizona State University and Teacher Certification from Ottawa University, teaches 6th through 8th (primarily Lang. Arts and History), attends Bethany Community Church
- Music Teacher:
- Mr. Don Francis4 years teaching experience at Bethany Christian School, BA in History from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, trained at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, many years experience as an instrumental performer and composer in church, theater, and band settings, teaches general music, instrumental band, worship team, and algebra, plays piano, keyboard, guitar, bass guitar, drums, and brass instruments, ACSI Spelling Bee judge, Director of the elementary Christmas musical, and Variety Show, attends Bethlehem Lutheran Church
- Mrs. Inice HahnkeBM from ASU in Music Education and Choral Music. Seven years experience teaching music at Brophy College Prep, Kyrene School District, Praise Makers Music for home schooled children, and two years as a volunteer vocal director at BCS with the middle school worship team and choir. Trained in Speech Level Singing and private voice teacher. Twenty-two years in church music including worship, performing arts, orchestra, choir, and dance. Producer/Director of Christmas, Easter, patriotic pageants and various musical productions. Attends River of Life Church.
- Athletic Director/PE Teacher:
- Mr. Matt Wiehl17 years teaching and coaching experience with 5 years at BCS, BS in Physical Education, Tennessee Temple University, Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States Soccer Federation Coaching License, Recipient of the Metro Athletic Conference (VA) Soccer Coach of the Year on five occasions, Head Men’s Soccer Coach, Southwestern College, Phoenix, Director of Athletics, Might Cats Intra-murals, Athletic Booster Club, summer soccer and basketball camps, soccer and basketball coach, attends Sun Valley Community Church
- Computer Teacher/Tech Support:
- Mrs. Trish King3 years teaching experience at BCS with 2 years as a teacher’s aid, BS in Computer Information Systems, Arizona State University, Tempe, teaches grades 3-8 computer classes and Life Skills to middle school students, worked as a computer systems analyst at Salt River Project for 10 years, member of the Technology Committee at BCS and provides technical support to BCS faculty and staff, has served as the ACSI Art Festival and Art Masterpiece coordinator, Girl Scout leader and PTF President, attends East Valley Bible Church

- Mrs. Barbara Hunsaker17 years teaching experience in Special Education: Emotional Handicaps, Learning Disabilities, Reading Teacher/Tutor, 9 years at BCS as an administrator, BS in Elementary Education and Special Education from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, served as a consultant and teacher trainer for Successful for All Reading, served on the Steering Committee for ACSI Accreditation focusing on curriculum, ACSI Coordinator for all BCS events, attends Spring of Life Christian Church

- Mr. Jeff Brakhage11 years teaching experience in 6th grade-university, 4 years in school administration, 5 years in marketing and development, BA in Russian Language and Literature from the University of Oklahoma and Moscow State University, BA in History with focus on Russian History from the University of Oklahoma, and an MBA from Grand Canyon University, member of the ACSI Philosophy and Foundations Committee and the Home, School, Community Relations Committee, member of the BCS Expansion Committee, attends First Christian Church of Phoenix
