• Second Grade:
  • Mrs. Jan Dolter23 years teaching experience in the primary grades with 3 years at BCS, BS degree in Elementary Education from California State University, Fullerton, active in Children’s ministries, and attends Red Mountain Community Church
• Third Grade:
  • Mrs. Kris Sawyers Mrs. Sawyers has over 10 years teaching experience with 2 years at BCS teaching 1st and 3rd grade. A graduate of Cal State University and NAU where she received her Masters Degree in elementary education and curriculum construction. Holds an Arizona state elementary teaching certificate, attends Cornerstone Church
• Fourth Grade:
  • Mrs. Louise Nichols5 years teaching experience at BCS in upper elementary and middle school, taught and developed the Christian World Impact class, BA degree from Ottawa University, Phoenix, founder and leader of the Daughter of the King workshops for middle school girls, attends Redemption Gateway Church
• Fifth Grade:
  • Mrs. Charmain Thorneycroft11 years teaching experience with 5 years at BCS in 4th and 5th grade, BS degree with a Reading Endorsement from Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota, served on the BCS School Board for 4 years chairing the Personnel Committee, served as Coordinator for the Scholastic Book Fair and ACSI Creative Writing Competition, attends Grace Chapel
• Sixth Grade:
  • Mrs. Robyn Bellerson16 years teaching experience in middle school primarily teaching Language Arts and Literature, BA in Secondary Education/English and a MAEd in Adult and Continuing Education from Arizona State, Tempe and the University of Phoenix respectively, involved in the Mentor Teacher Program with the Kyrene School District, Operations Director/Interim Administrator for Chandler Christian School, extensive hours in music and theater arts, assistant director in MS Choir, Student Council Advisor, attends Chandler Christian Church
• Seventh Grade:
  • Mr. Leonard Evans20 years teaching experience, 8 years at BCS, BS in Elementary Education with a minor in English, Bob Jones University, Greenville, South Carolina, experience traveling with a Christian drama troop for many years prior to teaching, teacher of Performing Arts and Bible, attends Superstition Foothills Baptist Church
• Eighth Grade:
  • Mr. Jeff Brakhage11 years teaching experience in 6th grade-university, 4 years in school administration, 5 years in marketing and development, BA in Russian Language and Literature from the University of Oklahoma and Moscow State University, BA in History with focus on Russian History from the University of Oklahoma, and an MBA from Grand Canyon University, member of the ACSI Philosophy and Foundations Committee and the Home, School, Community Relations Committee, member of the BCS Expansion Committee, attends First Christian Church of Phoenix
• Music Teacher:
  • Mr. Don Francis7 years teaching experience at Bethany Christian School, BA in History from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, trained at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, many years experience as an instrumental performer and composer in church, theater, and band settings, teaches general music, instrumental band, worship team, and algebra, plays piano, keyboard, guitar, bass guitar, drums, and brass instruments, ACSI Spelling Bee judge, Director of the elementary Christmas musical, and Variety Show, attends Bethlehem Lutheran Church
• Athletic Director/PE Teacher:
  • Mr. Matt WiehlEntering his 20th year teaching and coaching and 8th year at BCS. BS in Physical Education, Tennessee Temple University, Chattanooga, Tennessee, holds a United States Soccer Federation Coaching License, five time recipient of the Metro Athletic Conference Soccer Coach of the Year while at Portsmouth Christian High School in Virginia. Former Men’s Head Soccer Coach, Arizona Christian University, Phoenix, Arizona. BCS Athletic Director, Physical Education K-8, Mighty Cats Director, Summer Sports Camp Director, soccer and basketball coach, attends Chandler Christian Church
• Computer Teacher/Tech Support:
  • Mrs. Trish King5 years teaching experience at BCS with 3 years as a teacher’s aid, BS in Computer Information Systems, Arizona State University, Tempe, teaches grades 3-8 computer classes, Life Skills and Yearbook to middle school students, worked as a computer systems analyst at Salt River Project for 10 years, member of the Technology Committee at BCS and provides technical support to BCS faculty and staff, has served as the ACSI Art Festival and Art Masterpiece coordinator, Girl Scout leader and PTF President, attends Sun Valley Community Church
